A Pennsylvania Neighborhood 'Bloc' Party: From This House to the White House
Ed Helms considers how his character on The Office, Andy Bernard, would handle quarantining during an all-volunteer organized virtual 'bloc' party on Oct. 28, 2020. The event was broadcast from the Scranton, PA childhood home of Joe Biden, purchased by Anne and Robert Kearns in 1962.
He also shares with "The Real" Jim Halpert his feelings about Scranton including that he was "blown away by the warmth of this town...[it] embraced us like we were The Beatles!" He also describes Joe Biden's spirit of kindness, stability and fundamental decency as a "son of Scranton...the people who know him the best seem to be the people who admire him the most."
